Process consultation revisited

Recently I (re-) discovered on my desk this book: “Process Consultation Revisited” by Edgar Schein

Yes, written in 1999. “Old stuff” given how rapidly information can be outdated nowadays. However, having read it once more my belief is reinforced that basic mechanisms of human behaviour change much slower then we might want to think. It lays out very clearly the foundations for successful interventions in any organisational development work.

But does the helping relationship work in practice? What about the pressure for quick solutions?
